What SEEQC Does

SEEQC (Scalable Energy-Efficient Quantum Computing) spun out of superconducting-electronics maker Hypres in 2019. Its differentiator is Single Flux Quantum (SFQ) digital chip technology: putting qubit control, readout and error-correction logic on cryogenic chips co-located with the qubits, replacing racks of room-temperature electronics and the wiring bottleneck that limits scaling. It runs its own multi-layer superconducting chip fab in New York.

SEEQC has raised over $125M from investors including Merck, Samsung and Leonardo, plus a $30M extension in January 2025. In January 2026 it announced a merger agreement with Allegro Merger Corp at a $1B valuation, and in June 2026 joined the CHIPS Act-funded NORDTECH program for high-coherence qubit manufacturing.

Technology: Single Flux Quantum (SFQ) cryogenic digital control chips; in-house superconducting fab; chip-scale QPU management for any superconducting platform.
Roadmap: Close the Allegro SPAC merger (2026); scale SFQ-based digital quantum management systems as a supplier to other quantum vendors, including an NVIDIA collaboration on quantum-GPU interconnects.

Key Milestones

2023Demonstrated fully digital chip-based qubit control with SFQ logic at 4 Kelvin.
2024NVIDIA collaboration on ultra-low-latency quantum-GPU links for error correction.
Jan 2026Announced merger with Allegro Merger Corp at a ~$1B valuation.
Jun 2026Joined CHIPS Act-funded NORDTECH program for superconducting qubit manufacturing.

How to Get Exposure Today

Rigetti (RGTI) also fabs its own superconducting chips; SEEQC's model is closer to a picks-and-shovels supplier to every superconducting platform.

SEEQC Stock FAQ

Can you buy SEEQC stock?

Not directly yet. SEEQC announced a SPAC merger with Allegro Merger Corp (January 2026, ~$1B valuation). Until it closes, only the SPAC shell trades; after closing SEEQC will trade under its own ticker.

What makes SEEQC different from other superconducting companies?

It builds cryogenic digital control chips (SFQ) that sit next to the qubits, replacing room-temperature control racks — a scaling technology it can sell to every superconducting quantum vendor, not just its own systems.

Who has invested in SEEQC?

Merck (M Ventures), Samsung Catalyst, Leonardo, BlueYard, Booz Allen Ventures and NordicNinja, among others — over $125M in total private funding.
