Qedma builds QESEM (Quantum Error Suppression and Error Mitigation), software that analyzes device-specific noise on a quantum processor and suppresses part of it in real time during circuit execution while mitigating the rest in post-processing — letting circuits up to roughly 1,000x larger run with usable accuracy on today's noisy hardware, without waiting for full fault-tolerant error correction. It is a hardware-agnostic, software-only bet: rather than building qubits, Qedma sells better effective performance on top of whatever quantum processor a customer already owns.

What is the difference between error mitigation and error correction?

Error mitigation, Qedma's approach, runs on today's noisy hardware as-is, using software to suppress and statistically cancel out errors after the fact — a nearer-term technique that doesn't require extra qubits.
