Quantum Market Cap

About Quantum Market Cap

What this site is

Quantum Market Cap is a CoinMarketCap-style dashboard for the quantum computing sector: every pure-play quantum stock in one view, with live prices, sector market cap, cash runway, dilution activity, insider flow, government funding and hardware roadmaps side by side.

The site exists because quantum investing has a data problem. General finance sites treat quantum companies like any other small-cap — they won't tell you a company's qubit modality, its logical-qubit roadmap, its federal contract wins, or that its cash lasts nine more months at the current burn. We track exactly those things, only for this sector.

Who runs it

Quantum Market Cap is independently built and operated — not affiliated with, sponsored by, or compensated by any company we track. We hold no positions that influence coverage, sell no stock picks, and run no paywall. The same numbers everyone sees are the numbers we look at.

We also run a 24/7 live market data stream on YouTube (@QuantumMarketCap) ↗, cycling through the same dashboards published here.

How the data works

Everything is computed from primary sources: SEC EDGAR XBRL filings for financials, shares and insider trades; FINRA for short-sale volume; USAspending.gov for federal awards; arXiv and OpenAlex for research output; live exchange feeds for prices. Derived metrics like cash runway follow a published, checkable formula — see the full methodology.

Hardware specs (qubit counts, fidelity, roadmap targets) come from company investor materials and are refreshed manually with periodic audits, since no API publishes them. Where a figure is self-reported by a company, we label it as such.

Corrections

If a number looks wrong, it might be — filings get amended, tags get misused, and edge cases exist. Corrections and sourcing questions are welcome via the YouTube channel ↗. Known data caveats are documented on the methodology page.

Nothing on this site is financial advice. Quantum computing stocks are highly speculative; several tracked companies carry going-concern warnings from their own auditors. Do your own research.
